Welcome
Whether you are new to therapy or have years of experience, I welcome you to my practice. I am a licensed clinical therapist in the states of Georgia, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Ohio. I have office locations in Asheville, NC and Newport, KY.
I take a secular and realistic approach to therapy, utilizing DBT, CBT, and humor. I am also a member of AASECT (The American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists) and the Secular Therapy Project. I work with ages 18 and up and only see minors in special circumstances.
My specialties include:
- Moving through trauma/abuse, including vicarious trauma, unresolved childhood trauma, family conflict, and setting boundaries.
- Processing life transitions, including job changes, loss of partner/spouse, moving/relocation, and overall life direction
- Relationship counseling, including poly, non-monogamy, open relationships, divorce, breakups, and relationship reorganization
- Sex-positive and affirming including Kink and Sex work
- LGBTQIA+ issues including gender-affirming care and parental and partner support
- Self-care and finding joy

Life Informed Therapy offers online counseling to all residents of Massachusetts, North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, and Ohio.
In-person sessions are offered every other week in Asheville, NC and Newport, KY
