I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts (LMHC), North Carolina (LCMHC), Kentucky (LPCC), Ohio (LPCC), and Georgia (LPCC). I offer in-person sessions in Newport, KY and Asheville, NC, and provide online therapy to residents of NC, GA, OH, KY, and MA.
I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years with individuals, couples, and families. Over time, I have found my passion lies in supporting people who are navigating the aftermath of trauma, moving through major life transitions, or simply feeling exhausted from living a life that no longer feels authentic.
Clients often describe my approach as empathetic, reflective, and direct. I believe therapy should be both real and human — I welcome swearing in session, and I use humor thoughtfully to help create perspective and relief when things feel heavy.
My work is grounded in a secular, humanistic framework. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which helps clients move away from black-and-white thinking, build emotional regulation skills, and increase distress tolerance when addressing painful or complex experiences.
My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more empowered, and more aligned with the life you actually want to live.
